She completed her law degree at the University of Technology Sydney and has been working exclusively in migration law since graduating in 2020. Michelle’s experience spans a wide range of visa applications, including 482 visas, partner visas, and skilled migration, as well as handling character concerns and citizenship matters. Her bilingual fluency in Korean and active involvement in Sydney’s Korean community further exemplify her commitment to supporting migrant communities.
Journey
Michelle’s journey into migration law was inspired by her previous work as a research assistant, where she documented the stories of North and South Korean migrants. This experience made her realise the importance of knowledgeable legal guidance for migrants, which continues to motivate her in her legal practice. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and learning new languages and is an active member of several community organisations.
Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge, empathy, and personal dedication to her role at Kris Ahn Lawyers, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of legal support as they pursue their migration goals.
